The Garden of Reno

The Garden of Reno

While visiting friends in Reno, NV, we checked out a few local coffee shops. Boy, were we not disappointed! A quick google had us dialed in on a combo coffee shop and florist called The Garden of Reno. My two favorite things – I was psyched to check it out. And look how cute!

Inside were two of my favorite things – flowers and coffee. We caught them in a lull, so I had plenty of time to ask the barista a few questions.

The business is run by a mother-and-daughter team. The mother runs the florist shop, and the daughter runs the coffee shop. But it goes further as a family-run business! The coffee bar, run by the daughter, serves enticing coffee, both hot and cold brewed coffee, espresso drinks, and hot chocolate. (Delicious extras from Rounds Bakery and Dorinda’s Chocolates.) The florist, run by the mother, creates everything from bouquets to wedding designs and everything in between. The husband, a master woodworker, and a niece also help out at the shop.

  • Custom bouquets? Yes!
  • Do you have flower arranging classes? Yes! Last Christmas, we just had wreath-making classes.
  • Order coffee online? Yup! DoorDashGrubHub (and a few others).
